Destination Xchange is a tier-based exchange program described in Diamond Resorts and HGV owner materials. It should not be confused with Marriott’s Abound program or assumed to have the same resale eligibility as another club.

The official program explanation says tiers compare accommodation using factors such as resort location, unit size, season and demand. Ask for the tier assigned to the exact week you would deposit and the accommodation you want to receive.

Check the complete exchange cost
A move to a different tier can involve an additional charge under the applicable rules. Request the current membership, exchange and upgrade quote, and check the restrictions for the intended travel dates before depositing.
